Renovation of an educational facility in Fontana, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project consists of all labor, equipment and services necessary to demolish and dispose of existing flooring, base and accessories, prepare the substrate to per the manufacturers requirements to receive flooring and install owner furnished flooring materials (carpet tile, walk-off tile, luxury vinyl tile, sheet vinyl, adhesives, moisture treatments, wall base, transition strips) as described in further detail by the Bid Documents. Each bid must be submitted with bid security as described in the Information for Bidders. It is each Bidder's sole responsibility to ensure its bid is timely delivered and received at the location designated above. Any bid received at the designated location after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids shall be returned to Bidder unopened. In accordance with the provisions of the California Public Contract Code section 3300, The DISTRICT requires that the Bidder possess the following classification(s) of contractor's license at the time that the contract is awarded: C15 - Flooring Contractor The successful Bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract Price, and each issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120.
