Renovation of an educational facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project consists of all labor, equipment and services necessary to demolish and dispose of existing flooring, base and accessories, prepare the substrate to per the manufacturers requirements to receive flooring and install owner furnished flooring materials (carpet tile, walk-off tile, luxury vinyl tile, sheet vinyl, adhesives, moisture treatments, wall base, transition strips) as described in further detail by the Bid Documents. Each bid must be submitted with bid security as described in the Information for Bidders. In accordance with the provisions of the California Public Contract Code section 3300, The DISTRICT requires that the Bidder possess the following classification(s) of contractor's license at the time that the contract is awarded: C15 - Flooring Contractor The successful Bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract Price, and each issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. The successful Bidder shall comply with all requirements of Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1, of the Labor Code and Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations. For all work performed pursuant to this Contract, the Contractor and all subcontractors shall pay all workers not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California, ("DIR") for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to sections 1770 et seq. of the California Labor Code.
