**The Project has been awarded to JJ Fisher Construction Inc for teh awarded amount of $97,558.71** The work shall include but is not limited to, demolition and removal of existing concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, tree roots at the direction of the City Arborist, fine grading, compaction and placing new concrete for sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and other miscellaneous work as noted on the exhibits, all as shown on the plans and/or as specified herein. Project is to be completed within Ninety (90) WORKING days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall pay to the City of El Paso de Robles the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), for each and every calendar day's delay in finishing the work in excess of the calendar day completion time. Bidding procedures are prescribed in the Contract Documents. Each bidder must submit bid security in one of the following forms: cash, cashier's check payable to City, a certified check payable to City, or a bid bond in the form included with the bid documents, executed by an admitted surety insurer, made payable to City in an amount equal to at least 10% of the total amount of the bid or proposal. All bidders shall be licensed under the provisions of the Business and Professions Code to do the type of work contemplated in the project. In accordance with provisions of California Public Contract Code Section 3300, City has determined that the Contractor shall possess a valid Class A (General Engineering) License at the time that the bid is submitted. Failure to possess the specified license shall render the bid non-responsive. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, as well as a faithful performance bond, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The bonds shall be on the forms included in the Contract Documents. City reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to make any awards or any rejections in what it alone considers to be in the best interest of City, and waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids. The contract will be awarded, if at all, to the responsible bidder that submits the lowest responsive bid. City will determine the low bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
