Award amount is $90,408.29.** CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/26/2022 2:00 PM The project involves, but is not limited to: road milling and delivery / placement of Superpave Hot Mix Asphalt Wearing Course, 9.5 mm mix, 2-inch compacted depth for W. King Street (full width - estimated at 5,333 square yards) from Sugartown Road to Crest Avenue, including base repair. W. King Street - From Sugartown Road to Goshorn Drive with roadway repairs between Goshorn Drive to Crest Avenue. Approximate length = 1,942'. Approximate road width = 36'. Approximate total area = 5,333 square yards. Base Repair estimate = 1,041 square yards. . Provide all necessary traffic controls for complete project. . Saw cut / mill pavement joints (all locations including driveways if applicable). . Mill road full partial 2-inches - minimum depth. Mill additional depth, if necessary, to remove any roadway surface irregularities. . Remove the stamped concrete gateway along W. King Street. . Complete base repair as directed by the Borough representative. Base repair shall consist of the following: o Remove existing asphalt, stone and / or soil in locations specified by the Borough representative up to an additional four (4) inches. This shall occur after the milling operation (to permit the evaluation of the road surface by the Borough) for a total depth of six (6) inches from existing roadway elevation. ss Compact subbase / subgrade material with appropriate equipment. - Install up to four (4) inches of Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, WMA Base Course, PG 64-22, 0.3 to 3.0 million ESAL's, 25 mm mix, 4.0" compacted depth in one (1) lift. - If roadway subbase is determined to be PennDOT 4 stone and screenings (or equivalent) and cannot be milled, the Borough engineer will not require the milling to go an additional 4" depth.
