The purpose of this solicitation is to receive responses from qualified respondents to provide interior coating of a 40,000 gallon hydro-pneumatic steel tank in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the RFB. Description: The City of Clermont is accepting bids to coat the interior of a 40,000 gallon hydro-pneumatic steel tank in accordance with the specifications stated in bid document. Successful respondent is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the work. 1 - PROJECT SCOPE o Sandblast interior of 40,000 gallon steel tank o Coating - Temec Series 22 NSF drinking water o Coating thickness 20-24 mil. o All welded seam and opening must be hand coated. o Coating must be complete the same day as sand blasting. No bare metal is to sit overnight to avoid rusting. o Remove all debris from sandblasting, containers of paint product, etc. o Restore work site upon completion.
