The City of Woodinville is requesting that businesses add themselves to its procurement roster system, the Shared Procurement Portal which uses Public Purchase as the roster & solicitation management system. The free subscription to Public Purchase includes access to 7 agencies that use the platform! It allows for email notifications of live/posted solicitations and electronic solicitation submittals Some or all of the agencies participating in the Shared Procurement Portal may use the roster to select businesses for public agency contracts In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 200044 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation. Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act. hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to invitations and will not be discriminated against in the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. In addition, any selected bidder, with regard to work performed during a contract, shall affirmatively support non discrimination practices. including in the selection and retention of subcontractors and in the procurement of material and equipment. Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint.
