Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

To better serve you, please notify us at least three business days in advance when possible at 515-283-4209, should special accommodations be required Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below. .Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and to Iowa domestic labor, to the extent lawfully required under Iowa statutes. The improvement includes construction of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement, Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA) paving, PCC driveways, PCC sidewalks, modified subbase, storm sewer, intakes, pavement markings, site furnishings, plantings, miscellaneous work and incidental items; all in accordance with the contract documents, including Plan File No. 642-129/153, located on E. 3rd Street from E. Court Avenue to the Iowa Interstate Railroad at E. Vine Street, Des Moines, Iowa. This project shall be fully completed not later than November 15, 2022, and in accordance with the Completion Provisions.
