Renovation of an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Upgrades, repairs and improvements to the McIntyre Hall building located on the McGill University downtown campus. The project includes modifications of the building electrical distribution network to create redundancy on the emergency powered by a new 600 V substation. The project also includes an expansion of the main electrical room and relocation of the existing transformer. Note. The project will include the installation of a 25kV unit acquired following the tender C0002418 and replacement of switches. The supplier for the pre-purchased equipment will a subcontractor for this project. TIMELINE: Working drawings are complete. The owner has cancelled the tender for the general contractor C0002814 because the bid price submitted was too high in relation to the available budget. McGill University plans to return to WA in late summer/fall for construction in 2023. Further update at that time.
