Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Neptune City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Work shall consist of the following approximate quantities: 7,500 square yards of pavement milling, 1,140 tons of HMA surface course, 1,270 linear feet of concrete curb, 420 square yards of various concrete work, ADA compliant curb ramps, concrete restoration, various drainage improvements, striping, together with miscellaneous other related work items. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in a manner designated therein and required by the specifications. They shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Mayor and Committee of the Township of Neptune, bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, his address and the name of the contract for which the bid is submitted. Bids must be accompanied by a certificate from a surety company stating that it will provide the specified performance and maintenance bonds in the event that the contract is awarded to the bidder. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit as a partial satisfaction of liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon fulfillment of this requirement by the bidder. The checks of all bidders will be returned according to law. No interest shall be allowed upon any such check. Please be advised that funds through the Transportation Trust Fund Program are being utilized in this project. The award of the contract for this work will not be made until the necessary funds and permits have been provided by the Borough of Belmar in a lawful manner. Construction shall not begin until permits from NJDOT, NJ Transit and Monmouth County are approved, if required. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or waive any informality where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Borough of Belmar. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designed in the specification. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c,127., N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), P.L. 1977, C-33 (Ownership Disclosure) and the American Disabilities Act. The Contract shall be awarded, or all bids rejected, within sixty days from the receipt of bids within such extensions of time as permitted by law. The Mayor and Committee reserve the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any informality of any bid.
