In accordance with section 287.055 of the florida statutes (consultants' competitive negotiation act - ccna), the city of lakeland is seeking qualifications from qualified and experienced environmental consulting/engineering firms licensed to practice engineering and/or surveying in the state of florida, interested in entering into a lakes and watershed management services agreement for services involving diagnostic and feasibility studies, develop water and nutrient budgets, develop lake and watershed restoration management plans, evaluate the response of natural systems to land use changes and other environmental changes, perform wetland delineation, wetland monitoring and reporting services, develop wildlife management plans and construction engineering inspection and administration services on a non-exclusive continuing annual contract for a period of three (3) years with an option of two (2), one (1) year extensions. The city may award a contract to one (1) or more firms based on the submittals. The qualifications submitted and the contract, if issued, shall be in complete accordance with, without limitation, this request for qualifications, the attached city of lakeland requirements, all codes, requirements and other regulations referenced therein. In compliance with the ccna, rates shall not be included in the submittals.
