Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Work of this Contract comprises the following: 1. Renovations and repairs to existing main school space as required by mechanical renovation work in the crawl space. Repair gaps between existing modular walls and roof. Repair damage to foundation waterproofing and seal penetration around new weeping tile. 2. Mechanical systems for the renovation incorporating natural gas piping, plumbing, ventilation, and the control system. 3. Electrical work for the crawl space ventilation upgrade. 4. Civil works to rectify the site drainage issues to the existing crawl space. Civil work includes but is not limited to the following: .1 Provide perimeter weeping tile system (100mm pipe, with sock, and washed rock surrounded by filter fabric) on the building perimeter and connect to the storm sewer system and/or a pump that pumped to the building storm sewer within the crawl space. .2 Remove organic soils from the building foundation backfill zone and replace with clay soils completed to 95% of Standard Proctor Density. Re-instate surface with 150mm of topsoil and sod. .3 Rainwater leader adjustments with new splash pads. Secure splash pads to the building foundation to prevent removal or settlement. .4 Seal cracks in concrete slabs and against planter. .5 Regrade portion of school yard as noted on drawings includes 500mm wide concrete swale.
