Southside Recreation Center HVAC Unit Replacement The City of High Point is seeking a qualified contractor to replace a rooftop Trane 20 Ton Gas Pack HVAC unit at Southside Recreation Center located at 401 Taylor Ave. High Point, NC. This turnkey project is to replace existing rooftop mounted HVAC package unit, electrical disconnect located at the unit, gas regulator, gas shut off valve and thermostat. Install economizer, new thermostat, replace disconnect and seal tight to unit from disconnect. Also provide a 120-volt 1 phase service receptacle located within the site of the new unit. Contractor is to provide all necessary equipment, tools, cranes, machinery, curb adapters, roof cuts and repairs as necessary to install a working unit. WORK REQUIREMENTS: o Furnish and Install One (1)-20 TON 460 v 3 phase gas pack o Provide rigging equipment and Crane required for Installation o Furnish and install new programmable digital thermostat 1 stage heat, 2 stage cooling o Furnish and install new gas valve and gas regulator o Furnish and install new electrical disconnect o Furnish and install 120-volt 1 phase service receptacle located within the site of the new unit. o Provide all Refrigerant Piping and reinsulate exposed piping o Provide all Drain Piping o Provide all Control Wiring o Provide all Electrical Wiring necessary for unit reconnect and operation o Reconnect gas piping o Flush and reconnect refrigerant piping o Provide concrete pad if necessary o Provide all permits necessary for completion o Complete mechanical demolition and removal of the existing equipment o Removal and disposal of equipment or job-related waste as required by law o Provide all associated ductwork to adapt to the existing duct system (per NC code) o The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials and equipment needed. o Provide all mechanical equipment start up-factory o Provide 5-year compressor warranty o Provide 1-year parts and labor warranty o All pertinent state and local licenses will be required. It is the intent of the City of High Point to have a working, fully functioning unit at the completion of this project.
