Saving Project...

Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Engelhard, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

The architect/ engineer shall provide general administration of the performance of construction contracts, including liaison and necessary inspection of the work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. He/ She is the agent of the owner only for the purpose of constructing this work and to the extent stipulated in the contract documents. He/ She has authority to stop work or to order work removed, or to order corrections of faulty work where such action may be necessary to assure successful completion of the work. Work will include necessary repairs to the roof and interior associated with storm damage as identified in the Davis Ventures Community Center/ Davis Youth Recreation and Community Center Phase I Study dated February 19, 2021 conducted by Cahoon and Kasten Architects, PC, included as Attachment B. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for sound, documented reasons. This project will be funded through the North Carolina Office of Recovery and Resiliency/HUD CDBG-DR funds and through funds provided by North Carolina Emergency Management/FEMA Public Assistance funds RFQ questions may be directed to Sara Teaster, steaster@hydecountync.gov Questions and answers and other project specific information will be posted to Electronically within 48 hours until the proposal posting is closed. All questions must be received by May 27th, 2022 by 5 p.m. to be answered and posted 24 hours prior to the final date of acceptance of proposals.
