Site work and paving for a road / highway in Clear Lake, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) desires to solicit bids for the above referenced project. A bid bond will be required for this contract. No proposal will be considered unless a guaranty in amount of five percent of the total amount of the bid is secured by the Contractor and received by the Department with the bid or prior to opening of the bids. Satisfactory proposal guaranties include certified checks. Prequalification for bids greater than or equal to $200,000 will be required. If prequalification is required the bidder must be prequalified in accordance with: Work Type 5 Asphalt Concrete Pavement and Microsurfacing. The successful bidder must submit the Fuel Adjustment Affidavit (DOT-208) form prior to the execution of the contract; therefore, all bidders are encouraged to submit the Fuel Adjustment Affidavit prior to or at the time of bidding.
