Kingman Elementary School in Kingman, Maine requires lawn mowing and grounds maintenance services for May 1, 2022 - October 31, 2022. The services required are to include spring cleanup, mowing and weed whacking of school grounds (front and sides of building and around raised beds) and mowing the field located directly in back of the school building. Any raking, bagging and disposing of litter/debris, trimming of bushes surrounding the school building, playground, ball field and any outbuildings will be requested by the school Principal when needed. Spring cleanup is to begin as soon as possible after the May 1st start date. Mowing will take place weekly from June-August in order to keep mosquito and tick populations at a minimum. Otherwise, mowing should occur when growth has reached 2" or when an Administrative request is made. All services must begin no earlier than 2:30 p.m. on weekdays while school is in session or completed on the weekends as long as no attending student or school/community events are being held. The contractor must have all the equipment necessary to complete these tasks, including but not limited to, a lawn mower, weed whacker, rake and shovel, etc. The contractor is required to provide proof of liability insurance coverage.
