The County is requesting a Statement of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide on-call design consulting services for tenant improvements and remodeling services as further described in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) under Section V, Scope of Work. The County intends to award at least one (1), but not more than three (3) Consulting Services. The Contra Costa County Public Works Facilities Services Division (Facilities Services) provides maintenance, repair, and remodeling services for various County Departments. The Division is responsible for providing these services for approximately 3.5 million square feet of space in 221 County buildings using a variety of specialized trades including carpenters, roofers, electricians, electronic systems specialists, painters, stationary engineers and steamfitters. Building Maintenance - Provides maintenance and repair for buildings and facilities, both owned and leased; manages small construction projects; designs, installs, and maintains security, fire, and life safety systems; manages office landscape partitioning furniture projects, flooring, locks and hardware security systems, asphalt and a variety of other building improvements. Hospital Maintenance - Provides maintenance and repair for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center.
