This is a bid for the City of Davenport Iowa to purchase Road Salt for the 2022-2023 Winter Season. 4/14/2022 10:00:00 AM (CT) Inquiries Due Questions are due to the Purchasing Division no later than the time indicated. Sumbit your questions via email to purchasing@davenportiowa.com and include the title of the project with your contact information. 4/19/2022 02:30:00 PM (CT) Answers Posted Answers to inquiries that were emailed to the Purchasing Division will be issued in the form of an addendum no later than the date indicated. The addendum will be issued via an email. The City of Davenport is accepting bids for the delivery of ice control road salt for the 2022-2023 winter season. There are two portions to the bid. The first is for a bulk Base Order of salt, which is to be delivered to CHS (Harvest States) River Terminal, located at mile 475.5 of the Mississippi River between 01 July 2022 and 15 October 2022. The second portion of the bid is for a Supplemental Order of salt to be delivered to one or both of the City of Davenport's storage facilities on an as-needed basis in the event that base order stockpiles are exhausted. The City of Davenport is guaranteeing to place an order by March 01, 2023 for 25% of the supplemental order amount requested. There is no guarantee that the total supplemental amount requested will be ordered.
