Per the owner, as of January 4, 2024, a design team has been selected and the project is in design. The owner states that a timeline for construction is not available at this time. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meet with various City staff to conduct interviews to gain an understanding of the City's specific goals and expectations for this project. Refine the City's existing conceptual plan for the project and develop a final plan from which construction documents can be developed. Hold at least two public meetings, one with the Recreation and Parks Commission, to determine two design options that will be presented to the public for input at the second public meeting. Coordinate the project with the City's Public Works, Utilities, and Community Development Departments to identify the process to move the approved option into construction design. Hire the necessary local sub-contractors to work on the elements of the project's design development. Ensure proper survey and legal review for both the City's easements and any access claims for properties along Battles Road. Work with the representatives of the Recreation and Parks Department in addressing any design/development issues as the project progresses. Study the site to determine any existing or future conditions that will impact the project. Prepare a detailed cost analysis of the project's components for consideration, modification, and/or approval by the City. Prepare and deliver presentations in person at a minimum of two public stakeholder meetings.
