The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing the following: Demolition and Site Clearance of the Old Overstreet Volunteer Fire Department Building The old structure is located behind the new fire station at 101 Floating Bridge Road, Port St Joe, Florida. The successful Contractor will be expected to provide all tools, transportation, labor, and equipment necessary to perform the required duties herein. The overall objective of this project is to remove all structures, debris, site components, etc. and to leave the ground empty with the concrete slab intact, and ready for future development. The Contractor shall demolish and remove all above ground debris and appurtenances including but not limited to, the main structure and all interior structures, walls, rooms, bathrooms, and toilets. The Contractor shall remove all junk, trash or dead trees which may be present. No debris shall be left or buried on the site. Proposal submissions must submit in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with your company, corporation, or personal name on the outside of your envelope, and provide three copies of your proposal, and the Bid No 2122-19 so as to identify the enclosed proposal. Proposals received later than the date and time as specified will be rejected. The Board will not be responsible for the late deliveries of proposals that are incorrectly addressed, delivered in person, by mail or any other type of delivery service. The County reserves the right to waive minor irregularities, to reject any or all proposals received, and to otherwise make a decision in the best interests of the County. The Board shall have the final decision-making authority concerning any final award of and entering a lease with the County. Proposals will be evaluated and ranked in order of preference by the Gulf County Administrator. The County may also request additional information from Vendor that may be necessary to fully evaluate a proposal. The proposals will be evaluated and then submitted with recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners. If only one proposal is received, the County may negotiate in good faith. All proposals that are timely received shall become the property of the County and any costs or expenses incurred in relation to preparation and submission of proposals shall be borne by the proposer. Such proposals and related information shall be subject to the applicable provisions of the Florida Public Records Act.
