Description: The Montgomery County Department of Parks, part of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC or Commission), is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide construction services for paving, ADA, court, and drainage improvements to the northern section of Fairland Recreational Park, located at 3928 Greencastle Road, Burtonsville, Maryland. Question Submission Deadline January 6, 2025, 4:00pm Question Response Deadline January 13, 2025, 5:00pm Questions must be submitted via e-mail to: Lisa.Alderson@montgomeryparks.org The Commission reserves the right to reject all Bids and to ask for revised Bids from all offerors. The Commission may hold a Bidders conference which anyone submitting a bid can attend to discuss revisions to the scope of work. All Bids, where total bid is in excess of $100,000., must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Base Bid, properly executed in favor of the Commission. A performance bond and a labor and material payment bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount, are required for any construction contract in excess of $100,000.
