Plainview Independent School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids/proposals and to waive any irregularities, technicalities, or informalities in any bid/proposal or in the bid/proposal process. The successful proposer/bidder shall install new 1/4" drywall over existing paneling in approximately 15 classrooms, offices, library and corridors at Coronado Middle School. New drywall shall be taped, bedded, textured and painted. Existing cmu walls (not newly covered by drywall) will receive new paint. Electrical outlets and switches will need to be adjusted so that they are flush with the new wall. Contractor-furnished base cove, Roppe 4", in color Deep Navy, is to be installed. Corridors along with dry wall, paint, and cove base will receive new grid and ceiling tiles to match existing (Armstrong #755B 2 x 4 tile). Specified paint is Sherwin Williams Promar 200 Zero VOC Interior Latex Semi-gloss paint tinted to Dover White. Contractor will be responsible for the disposal of classroom furnishings designated by the owner. Whiteboards and corkboards, in all classrooms (not just the renovated classrooms in this solicitation), will also be removed by awarded contractor. There are quantity 126 Owner-provided whiteboards and corkboards that must be installed in all classrooms. Work may begin Tuesday, May 31, 2022 and must be completed by Monday, August 1, 2022 "per owner all bids were rejected and this will re-bid at a future time and date TBD.
