Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals is being issued to establish a contract with qualified suppliers who will provide Student Residential Janitorial Services to the University of West Georgia (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP. University of West Georgia (UWG) seeks qualified Janitorial Services to be performed in Student Residential Spaces/Buildings. UWG needs room flip janitorial services during peak transitional times when students move out between academic semesters. UWG Residential Buildings / Spaces consist of single and multi-bed units, laundry rooms, common areas, and hallways. Cleaning will include but is not limited to the detailed cleaning of the Kitchen Area, Living Room, Bathrooms, Bedrooms, Hallways, lobbys, common Areas, and floors. Suppliers are to furnish all services, labor, and materials for each area unless otherwise noted, in accordance with the attached documents. Student residential spaces/ buildings cleaning services are needed on the Carrollton Main campus location. The intent is for the contract to start once awarded for one (1) year with four (4) optional one (1) year renewals or as soon as a contract can be awarded.
