Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Dighton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; and residential development.

Pursuant to M.G.L., Chapter 149, the Town of Dighton is soliciting written responses from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform two individual demolition projects located in the town. Demolition Project #1: 237 Main Street, Dighton, MA shall include the demolition of a multi- family home and a freestanding garage. Demolition Project #2: 996 Tremont Street, Dighton, MA shall include the demolition of one single family mobile home. Any demolition questions shall be directed to the Building Commissioner via email at jaguiar@dighton-ma.gov. All other questions regarding this bid should be directed to Michael Mullen, Jr., Town Administrator/Chief Procurement Officer via email at: mmullen@dighton-ma.gov. Questions will be accepted until Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. The Town will award one contract to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest combined total cost for the projects. A separate invoice for each project will be required. The Town of Dighton is exempt from sales tax. An exempt certificate will be furnished upon request. Demolition must be completed no longer than 45 days after the award of bid. State Procurement Laws must be followed. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the total bid and a 50% payment bond will be required. The Town of Dighton reserves the right to reject any and all quotes, or increase or decrease quantities, which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town and upon appropriations.
