As of July 05, 2022, project was awarded to Keating Roofing & Sheet Metal with base bid of $1,301,348.00 and and acceptance alternate of $440,000.00. Total contract value of the project is $1,741,348.00. Replacement of approx. 381 squares to include deck repairs, carpentry, roof insulation, two ply modified bitumen roof system Bid Bond in an amount equal to and not less than five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the base bid is required. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and or all bids and, to waive all technicalities and formalities and to award the Contract to another other than to low bidder, should it be deemed in his best interest. Base Bid work includes total removal of existing roof systems down to the deck for Roof Areas A, A1, A2, H, H1, H2, C, E, F and G for approximately 381 squares. Roof replacement includes minor deck repairs, rough carpentry, roof insulation, including taper, and a two-ply modified bitumen roof system. Base Bid work also includes maintenance and repairs to Roof Areas D, D1, and D2 (metal). All associated sheet metal components and accessories are included. Minor repairs to concrete, stucco, and masonry to complete the roof replacement sheet metal work are also included.
Alternate Number 1 work includes complete removal and replacement of Roof Areas D and D1 for approximately 163 squares in lieu of maintenance/repairs in the Base Bid. Replacement of Roof Area D2 is not included in the Alternate. All associated sheet metal components and accessories are included.
Alternate Number 2 work includes replacement of metal screen walls, repairs and modifications to fixed, exterior ladders on roof and removal and replacement of all condensate lines for all roof areas, less Area B.
Alternate Number 3 work includes complete removal and replacement of Roof Area I for approximately 12 squares. All associated sheet metal components and accessories are included. PN - 22092
