Summit County Facilities Maintenance Department is soliciting proposals from qualified service providers to repair and resurface the County Commons facility (E.I.F.S) Exterior Insulation Finishing System. The best proposal will be selected for award based upon consideration of qualifications, relevant experience, schedule and cost Submit questions regarding the proposals to wayne.byrne@summitcountyco.gov. The pre-bid meetings for this project is posted on the Summit County electronically. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who best meets the requirements of Summit County and the public interest. The Summit County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities or informalities, and to conduct such investigations or negotiations as it deems necessary to select the most responsible and responsive proposal. The selected authorized Senergy certified contractor will repair and resurface (complete building) all architectural details, soffits and gables of the facility's original Senergy, (EIFS) exterior insulation finish system, to include repair and replacement of holes, water damage, penetrations, cracks, all caulk joints, control joints, loose cladding and building details. A new base coat with fiber imbedded mesh and textured color top coat will then be applied to the entire buildings existing (EIFS) system. New systems to be tested and installed per the following Senergy specifications, technical bulletins and published details for all resurfacing and repair guidelines, not limited to listed items below and reflected in RFP supporting documentation.
