Site work and renovation of a library in Oakville, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade library; and for site work for a library.
This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Town of Oakville (the "Town") to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Relocation of a Single Storey Modular Building, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). In 2018, The Town engaged a Design/Build team to construct a modular-based design for a temporary library facility located at 3070 Neyagawa Blvd, Oakville (adjacent to the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex). The modular library facility reached substantial completion in 2019 and has been successfully operating at this location for approximately three (3) years. The single storey library consists of seven (7) 12' x 60' modules, for a total building area of approximately 5,048 sq. ft. (469 sq. m.). The Town would now like to relocate the facility approximately 1,500 ft. (460m) Northwest from its current location on Neyagawa Boulevard.
