Site work for a water / sewer project in Viola, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work includes: The construction of approximately 2038 feet of 8" water main (along 14th Street, from Rt. 17 South to 19th Ave, then east along 19th Ave to 17th St, and then north along 17th St to 18th Ave), including 7 gate valves, 4 fire hydrant assemblies, 40 feet of 6" (for fire hydrant assemblies), and 28 water services Contracting Documents, including Drawing and Technical Specifications, are on file for review and bidding at: Giffin Engineering, Inc. Village of Viola (review only) 326 Edward Street Office of the Village Clerk Henry, IL 61537 1305 17th Ave. (309) 356-5393 Viola, IL 61486 Bidders must submit with his or her bid "Certification of Bidder Regarding Equal Employment Opportunity" and the "Noncollusion Affidavit of Prime Bidder". A Bid Bond is required for this project. Each bidder, including subcontractors and lower-tier subcontractors, must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, sex or national origin. Bids may be held by the Village for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualification of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The Village of Viola is an equal opportunity employer.
