Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of June 21, 2022, project was awarded to Brandt Excavating Inc, awarded amount is $4,592,394.46. Lead Service Replacement Project-Contract 1 which consists of various lead water service line replacements from the water main or b-box to the water meter including HMA replacement, PCC replacement, interior plumbing & other miscellaneous appurtenances in accordance with the plans & specifications. All questions should be received by the purchasing division by 4 pm Friday, May 13, 2022 so that an addendum can be issued Monday, May 16, 2022, if required. All questions received after Friday will not be addressed. A Bid bond payable to the Owner must accompany each Bid for five percent of the total amount of the Bid. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, Each in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Contract Price, With a Corporate Surety Approved by the Owner, Will Be Required for the Faithful Performance of the Contract The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any Bid if the Evidence Submitted by, or Investigation of, Such Bidder Fails to Satisfy the Owner That Such Bidder Is Properly Qualified to Carry Out the Obligations of the Agreement and to Complete the Work Contemplated Therein.
