There is no scheduled mandatory pre-bid meeting for this bid. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Security in the designated form in the amount of 5 % of the Bid Price. Bid Security shall be refunded to all bidders following award and execution of the contract and upon return of the contract documents. Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder. In addition to, ALL trades are required to pay prevailing wages. (Davis-Bacon Act RI160001 - as amended up to the date of this bid). A 10% M.B.E requirement has been set for this project. The Town of Westerly reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. The work encompassed within this contract shall include, but not be limited to: removal and replacement of concrete curbing, removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk including the installation of ADA compliant wheelchair ramps, installation of polymer modified cement mix to obtain decorative asphalt on existing pavement surface, installation of rumble strip, installation of bar gates, installation of boulders, signing, striping, and all other work required to complete the roadway improvement project
