Furnishing of all labor and materials for the Access Control Replacement Project at Eight CDA Owned Senior Housing Developments in Dakota County, MN. There are eight senior housing developments that currently contain fob-based access control systems that are outdated and in need of replacing. This project consists of, but not limited to the removal of existing door hardware at all apartments, exterior entries, controlled rooms and points of access; installing new Yale Accentra door hardware in the same locations, supplying and programming all new credentials, supplying and implementing software, and training the property management staff how to use the new system. This project will be awarded as a single contract and should be bid as a single project. The bidder with the lowestresponsive, responsible bid will be awarded the Contract pending Board approval. The Dakota County CDA reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding This Project is subject to Minnesota Statutes 2019, section 16C.285 (Responsible Contractor's Act) and therefore requires a Verification of Compliance form included with the bid. Bids received after this day and time will be rejected. No telephone bids nor faxed bids will be accepted. Bids shall be on the forms provided for this purpose and according to the Bidding Documents prepared by Dakota County CDA Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany the bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. Bids shall be directed to the Project Manager, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, with the Project Title and Bid Due Date. Any bid not including a bid security will be considered disqualified. Payment and Performance Bonds will also be required of the awarded party The CDA hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (D.M.E.) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and / or proposals and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, age, religion, or national origin.
