NIGP Class/Item No(s): 910-14 DoorInstallation, Maintenance, and Repair The required services to be provided are entrance door replacements at Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center (CCSSLC). All glass doors and existing metal doors as designated by the facility to be replaced with hollow metal doors with glass insert and internal kick plate. See Exhibit_G_Photos a) The contractor shall furnish and install 6 pairs of hollow metal doors (2/3070) 16ga. with 8x30 laminated window kits and light kits. Existing glass doors to be changed to metal with glass insert. b) The contractor shall furnish and install 2 single hollow metal doors (pavilion only) 45 7/8" doors with butt hinges and light kits. Existing glass doors to be changed to hollow metal with glass insert. c) The contractor shall furnish and install 8 external pull door handles with 8 internal push bars to exit. d) The contractor shall furnish and install 8 sets of Mortise lock set cylinder. e) The contractor shall furnish and install stainless steel continuous hinges for all doors. f) The contractor shall furnish and install 12 each standard light door kits. g) The contractor shall an install kick plates on the inside bottom of all 14 doors. h) The contractor shall connect all doors to automatic door closers already installed. i) The contractor shall remove and dispose of existing doors and hardware. j) The contractor's technicians shall attend contractor orientation and participate with the facility Risk Manager in a pre-construction risk assessment prior to any work. k) For new projects, the Contractor shall provide a detailed and itemized estimate containing the scope of work, itemized parts, parts price, labor charges, grand total price, and a detailed description of the work. Contract Administrator will approve the estimate from the winning bidder and authorize the Contractor to proceed with the project through the release of a Delivery Release Change Notice. Work performed without this Release will not be paid. l) Mark-up on parts shall not exceed the Contract percentage, but not be greater than 10%.
