Work start date: June 1, 2022 to May 31, 2025 Date of site visit: NIL Time of visit: NIL No other visit will be made and bidders may not, under any circumstances, present themselves on site at any time other than the date and time set for the site visit. Bidders are responsible for informing themselves and adequately assessing the nature and scope of the work, as well as being aware of the locations and conditions affecting the performance of the work. All bidders will be deemed to have visited the premises and no claim for lack of knowledge of the premises can be submitted or accepted.
Bid bond: 10% of the total bid amount (all taxes included) - by certified check, bank draft or bond valid for 45 days, payable to the PUBLIC BODY. Performance bond and bond for materials, pledges and services 50% of the contract price will be required upon signature of the contract. The amount of these guarantees will be 10% of the contract price if it is a certified cheque, money order or bank draft.
Only bids from contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement and holding, as the case may be, will be considered for the awarding of the contract. the license required under the Building Act (RSQ cB-1.1). Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tenders. All tenders must be made in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies adopted under the Act respecting contracting by public bodies (RSQ, c. C-65.1, r. 5). Any bidder interested in entering into a contract of $25,000 or more with the PUBLIC BODY must hold an attestation from Revenu Quebec (ARQ). The tenderer must submit the certificate (ARQ) to the CSP with its submission when it is submitted, otherwise its submission will be automatically rejected. The certificate from Revenu Quebec must be valid until the end of the 3-month period following the month in which it was issued. The PUBLIC BODY does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received.
