**As of May 2, 2022, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $569,999.96** Each proposal must be accompanied by a Surety's Consent and a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond at the Bidder's discretion for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, payable to the Township of Monroe, New Jersey except that the amount of the check shall not exceed $20,000. The same Surety shall be bound to furnish Performance Bonds that hereinafter may be required. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish, within ten (10) days after the award, a Surety's Corporation Performance Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, such Surety Company to be acceptable to the Township of Monroe and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. This work is subject to the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities, or to accept the bid which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Township. Bids may be held by the Township for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the receipt of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding of the contract.
