The scope of the project includes basic well refurbishment and the replacement of the existing vertical turbine pump and associated mechanical piping. The project shall include before and after refurbishment flow testing, removal and inspection of the well pump and column and motor, down hole video and inspection, manual cleaning or brushing of the well screen and redevelopment as required. The existing vertical turbine pump shall be replaced by a new pump of the same operational capacity. Services related to the replacement shall include installation, start-up and testing as required. The pump motor shall not be replaced but shall be reused as part of the project. The Contractor shall also prepare a summary report of all activities and flow test results to be given to the Owner after the conclusion of the work. All questions related to the project shall be directed to Edward Hodges of CURRAN-McLEOD, INC. Bidders not currently pre-qualified by the Owner, Engineer or the Oregon Department of Transportation may apply for pre-qualification with the Owner or Engineer prior to the bid opening on forms available or similar to those available from the Oregon Department of Transportation. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project.
