Site work and new construction of a recreation facility in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Working plans call for the construction of a 85,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 4,728-seat recreation facility.
The proposed work is listed below but may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the City of Prince Albert: 1. New Event Centre including: - 85,000 sqft event centre - 4,728 spectator seats - Concessions - Office space - Club lounge - Club bar - Suite Viewing - Raider dressing room - Mintos Dessing Room - Northern Bears Dressing Room - Mechanical, process, electrical, structural - Connecting corridor to Phase 1 Recreation Centre 2. Site development including parking lot (884 parking stalls) and landscaping 3. Constructing all works in accordance with the Contract (as herein defined). TIMELINE: Request for Prequalification from contractors was issued in April, 2024. The list of the pre-qualified proponents has not been made public. Project is on hold pending funding. Further update may be available in spring 2026.
