As of August 10, 2022, a designer has not been selected. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The City of Williamsport is putting out a solicitation for Requests for Proposals from interested A/E firms for Williamsport Levee Pump Station Design Services. Expected Contract Value - $1 to $500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The City of Williamsport is putting out this RFP for Levee Design Services. This writeup serves as the RFP. The City of Williamsport has an aging Levee System. One critical component to our Levee system is our 9 Pump Stations. These pump stations are called out on the attached Levee Plan view shown in the documents folder, note the yellow boxes. According to work performed by a large Engineering firm approximately 4 years ago, and the City's own determination, we need upgrades at the following 3 pump stations: Spring Run Mill Race Arch Street Clarification Deadline 7/11/2022 5:00 Pm The City is searching for qualified firms that can perform this design work for us. A technical memo from 2018 that gives more detail on these needs is shown in the documents folder. The necessary upgrades to these 3 above mentioned pump stations include the following: 1) Adding stand-alone backup generators to each one. 2) New electrical gear (switchgear and motor control centers). Currently our pump stations are manually controlled. The city is very interested in pump station systems that are automated, and do not require manual controls. The City is Requesting a Full Scope of Services from interested firms, along with any legal agreements/details required for a successful, executable contract between the firm and the City. There is no formal standalone RFP document(s). This write-up serves as that document. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
