Project Category Code: Mechanical Systems, Buildings and Grounds/Educational Facilities The Project consists of the replacement of existing electric variable air volume (VAV) boxes and electric heating coils throughout the East Hall Building (46 VAV boxes total) with new single duct VAV boxes with hot water reheat coils and associated valves, piping, and controls. In addition to the VAV box replacement, a 150 KW electric heating coil located in the existing East Hall air handling unit will also be replaced with a new hot water heating coil. The project includes extension of heating water supply mains and branch piping to the East Hall Building to serve the new VAV boxes and AHU coils and tee fittings and valves will be provided for future heating water extension to Hill Theater, College Center, and Art Hall. Additionally, the work will include but is not limited to, all related electrical modifications, ceiling modifications, specialties, and finishes.
