Scope of work includes new headworks structure, improvements to existing equalization tank, new oxidation ditches, new secondary clarifiers, expansion to existing chlorine contact tanks, improvements to existing sprayfields and effluent storage ponds, new rapid infiltration basins, improvements to existing aerobic digester, improvements to existing sludge dewatering system, upgrades to existing in-plant recycle pump station, new plant water pump station, new sludge pump station, improvements to existing chemical building, Site/civil/stormwater Work, electrical distribution system Work, electrical utility coordination, emergency power generator, and all materials and equipment, construction, and services inherent to the Work. Additional Work is included for bidding as Alternates (to be awarded at Owner’s option): Alternate A1 Equalization Tank No.2 - Post-Tensioned (Area 2); A2 Sludge Thickening System (Area 9); A3 Aerobic Digesters Additional Improvements (Area 10); A4 Operations Building Expansion (Area 12); A5 Clarifiers Launder Covers (Area 4); A6 Carbon Feed System (Area 3); and A7 and A8 price difference to replace tank type in Base Bid and Alternate A1 with concrete tank. A MANDATORY pre-Bid conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. EDT March 17, 2026 at Bushnell City Hall, 117 E. Joe P. Strickland Jr. Avenue, Bushnell, Florida followed by a mandatory Site walkthrough at the WWTF. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the conference and Site walkthrough. Bids may not be accepted from Bidders who fail to attend the mandatory pre-Bid conference.
