Disposal of District 1 street sweepings: The estimated amount of sweepings not to exceed 2000 tons. If the Vendor does not have a scale, weight will be calculated at 1.4 tons per cubic yard. Other personnel are not authorized to answer questions regarding this Solicitation. Most large debris will be hand picked out by MnDOT employees, but the sweepings may contain some debris besides the sand being removed from the State roadways. The bidding price by the vendor will include the street sweepings/per ton, the Industrial Solid Waste tax and any Environmental fees. MnDOT will be responsible for delivering the street sweepings by truck to the vendors location to be disposed of, within 30 miles of the Thompson Hill Rest Area. Bids outside that distance will not be accepted. The term of this contract is anticipated to be from April 25, 2022 to June 30, 2022, with the option to extend up to an additional 2 Months in increments determined by the State. Award Any award that may result from this solicitation will be based upon the established selection process. The State reserves the right to award this solicitation to a single responder, or to multiple responders, whichever is in the best interest of the State, providing each responder is in compliance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation. The State reserves the right to accept all or part of an offer, to reject all offers, to cancel the solicitation, or to re-issue the solicitation, whichever is in the best interest of the State. The State reserves the right to: Reject any and all responses received; Waive or modify any informalities, irregularities, or inconsistencies in the responses received; Require responders to conduct presentations, demonstrations, or submit samples; Award by location or item, including category, by groups of items, or all items (therefore, the responder is encouraged to offer a response for all locations or items); and Interview key personnel or references.
