Questions Due Date: May 24th 2022, 4:00 PM CDT Intent to Bid Due Date: May 31st 2022, 2:00 PM CDT The City of Frisco is looking for responsible bidders for the reconstruction of Cottonwood Street from North County Road to 500' East. The project will include both drainage and pavement improvements. Drainage improvements will be done as Phase I and will include: o The grading/placement of approx. 330 LF of 1.25' deep swell on the south side of the pavement. o The removal and replacement of approx. 95 SY of drive approach pavement. Three approaches in total. o The placement of approx. 135 LF of 15" RCP with 3:1 Type II SETs. Pavement improvements will be done as Phase II and will include: o Removal of the existing HMAC surface and existing base and subgrade material to a depth of 28". o Compaction of existing subgrade to 95% density. o Placement of approved geogrid material. o Placement and compaction of 24" of Type D, Grade I or II flex base material to a width of 1' wider than the proposed pavement. o Placement of 4" Type D HMAC in two separate 2" lifts. o Backfilling of pavement edges with topsoil and placement of required sod. Thirty (30) calendar days are allotted for the completion of this contract.
