Bids may be mailed to the LHSD at the above address and will be considered if received prior to the scheduled time for the bid opening. The Bidder assumes the responsibility for timely delivery. Fax transmissions will not be accepted.Each bid shall be accompanied by security in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the Laurel Highlands Area School District in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Attention is called to the fact that the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project. The Owner reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject all bids, to waive any and all informalities in the bids, and to refuse to consider non-conforming, nonresponsive or conditional bids. All bids shall remain irrevocable for sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening. : Pavement Base repair, storm inlet and piping replacement with bituminous milling and wearing course construction, crack filling, bituminous sealing, line striping, roadway construction and appurtenant items of construction at 2 separate locations administered and maintained by LHSD
