The unit must be computer controlled and maintain the desired application rate of emulsion and aggregate within (+/-) 2%. The unit must be capable of applying a minimum application width of 13' in a single pass and be adjustable during production by a maximum of 1' increments with no overlapping of materials. The unit must have a minimum capacity of 1,200 gallons of emulsion and 16 tons of aggregate. Provide an hourly rate for the operator. One-way travel will be paid. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Eldred Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling 610-381-4252 ext. 2, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Interested bidders must register with the Township at the time of receiving bid information, and provide the bidder's contact information. The Township reserves the right to issue one or more addenda to the bid specifications, prior to the bid deadline. At the meeting, the Board of Supervisor will consider, and possibly award, one or more contracts on the bids received. The Eldred Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete bid items and/or portions of the bid items depending on budgetary constraints and other factors, and also to waive any informal, irregular, or technical errors or defects in the bids, as the Board deems to be in the best interested of the Township.
