Site work and paving for a road / highway in Butte, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Each bidder shall be required to have a Business license prior to acceptance of the bid. Federal Excise, local or state tax should not be included in the Bids as Butte-Silver Bow is exempt from it. Montana Prevailing Wage rates shall apply. The successful Bidder shall comply with all applicable Federal Regulations and Requirements which include but are not limited to, Section 2 Clause, Equal Opportunity Clause, Executive Order 11246 and 11624, Federal Labor Standards and Civil Rights Act. Accordingly, the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow reserves the right to negotiate an agreement based upon fair and reasonable compensation for the scope of work and services proposed, as well as the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid deemed to represent the best interests of the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. The project consists of a 2" mill/fill along various streets in the City of Butte, Montana. The mill/fill will encompass the removal and replacement of approximately 74,738 square yards of asphalt. The work shall also include traffic control, valve and manhole adjustments and other miscellaneous work associated with the asphaltic replacement in streets
