Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fremont, Ohio. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Fremont is requesting Qualification Statements (RFQ) in the form of a Letter of Interest (LoI) from ODOT pre-qualified, professional engineers to provide engineering and surveying services for the City's North 5 th Street Reconstruction Project (Walnut to US 20 Interchange). The City was awarded a Small City's Grant for the construction of the first phase of the project, which includes the section from the US 20 interchange on the northern side to the RR tracks R/W on the southern side. However, the requested design of this project will also include the second phase of the project, which is from the said RR tracks to the intersection of Walnut Street to the south. This project will be a Local Public Agency (LPA) project with an option of the selected consulting firm to provide construction administration and inspection services in addition to all the necessary services to perform the design and survey work. ODOT will be performing the environmental clearance requirements for this project. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
