The City Burlington is seeking Bids from experienced and qualified Contractors to provide permanent restoration of asphalt and concrete paving, sidewalks, curbs, driveway approaches, topsoil and sod within the City of Burlington, on an as required basis, for utility cuts. If restoration is required within the Right-of-Way, the permit holder will contact the City's representative to initiate the restoration process. The City will then review the scope of restoration and provide the permit holder with a quote based on the unit rates established in this contract. Once the City has received approval to proceed with the restoration works associated with the permit, the City representative will coordinate with the Contractor to schedule and complete the works. The contract will be for a First Term of one (1) Season with up to two (2) optional extensions of one (1) Season each based on the same terms and conditions and upon mutual agreement between the Vendor and City and contingent upon a sufficient budget, program needs, and/or Council approval if applicable. For the purposes of this agreement a Season shall be defined as being from May 15th through November 15th of the same calendar year.
