Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Bonita Springs, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Big Bend Road Stormwater Improvement Project includes the construction of an enclosed stormwater drainage system to eliminate open swales on both sides of Big Bend Road from north of Tarpon Avenue to the north end of the roadway. Included in the scope of work is the construction of an enclosed stormwater drainage system, ditch bottom inlets, regrading and reshaping shallow swales, and the reconstruction of existing driveways and roadway as necessary. A bid alternate includes a limited portion of stormwater improvements and milling and resurfacing Big Bend Road, The scope of the project also includes Bonita Springs Utilities, Inc (BSU) utility improvements due to the construction of the enclosed stormwater drainage system. The BSU improvements include replacing and adjusting potable water and sewer services, force main deflection, water main deflection, and other miscellaneous improvements required in accordance with the drainage improvements. All costs associated with the restoration for the utility improvements shall be included in the costs for the utility improvements.
