Renovation of a water / sewer project in Webster City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

A. Remove and replace of existing CO2 gas diffuser re-carbonation system with Owner purchased TomCo 75 lbs/hr rated pressure solution carbonic acid feed system. This equipment including the booster pumping system will be assigned to the contractor for installation. Existing Carbon-dioxide storage tank shall be reused. Remove replace carbon dioxide gas feed piping with 304 SS pipe. Install booster pump system for TomCo re-carbonation carrier water system to maintain constant 60 psi water supply. Modify baffle wall system in the existing re-carbonation basin and furnish and install sample withdrawal piping system for pH sensor for automatic control of re-carbonation system. B. Remove and replace existing pre-chlorine and intermediate chlorine feed system. The new equipment shall include new 500 lbs/d rated ejectors, manual gas chlorinators chlorine feed rate rotameters, new vacuum tubing and carrier and chlorine solution piping and related appurtenances. C. Furnish and install new chlorine booster pump. Provide a shelf spare chlorine booster pump. D. Furnish and install a new gas leak monitoring system in the chlorin storage room with strobe light indicator and an alarm horn to indicate chlorine gas leak. Furnish and install new automatic shut off valve on the one-ton chlorine cylinder with a battery back-up system. E. SCADA integration with necessary electrical wiring and motor starters, disconnect and sub-feed panels for work described above and additional work done by the owner for the following chemical feed system 1. Lime feed system 2. Sodium Aluminate coagulant feed system 3. Polymer feed system 4. Polyphosphate feed system 5. Orthophosphate feed system F. There is no painting work included in the project.
