Replacement of Small Structure No. 11010X0 on US 219 over Tributary of Youghiogheny River in Garrett County. The new structure will be a single cell 14 -0 x 5-0 reinforced precast concrete box culvert, 46 ft. in length providing a 40 ft wide clear roadway. The work includes the removal of the existing slab bridge, 0.06 miles of approach roadway and stormwater management. Traffic will be detoured during placement on the precast culvert. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in theInvitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
