Contractors are asked to submit a bid for a term of twelve (12) months for the period beginning July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023, and two (2) one (1) year options for the period beginning July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024 and for the period beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025. The Board may exercise its option to renew the contract for the subsequent year by providing notice of its intent to renew the contract to the Contractor no later than June 15th of each year of the contract. Bids must be delivered in sealed envelopes properly marked identifying bids. It is understood and agreed that any person in the Office of the Board of Education will be absolved from responsibility for premature opening of any proposal not properly identified. No bids will be received after the time specified above for opening, nor will any proposal be allowed to be modified or withdrawn after the time set for the opening. The Marlboro Township Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. A bidder shall be required to deposit with their bid, security in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the base bid, but not more than $20,000.00 in the form of certified check or bid bond. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 (Affirmative Action) and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (Disclosure) and the Non-Collusion Affidavit.
