The Board of County Commissioners of Calvert County, Maryland, noted hereinafter as Calvert County Government, is soliciting written quotes from qualified companies (hereinafter, "the Contractor") for all material, equipment, machinery, apparatus, transportation, and labor necessary to complete the services to be performed and/or furnish the products described in this Request for Quote (hereinafter, "RFQ"). The Contractor warrants all work performed shall conform to all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. All material and/or equipment furnished shall be new, unused, and shall be the same as the manufacturer's current production model unless specified by Calvert County Government. Requests for information related to this RFQ shall be made in writing no later than Wednesday, April 27, 2022 by 4:00 p.m. (local prevailing time) and directed to the Procurement Office, Taylor Smith, by email at Taylor.Smith@calvertcountymd.gov. Questions regarding the meaning and intent of the Contract Documents shall be referred in writing by the Contractor to the Project Manager with a Request for Information. The Project Manager shall respond to the Contractor in writing with a decision within fifteen (15) calendar days of receipt of the request, or if it is necessary to extend this period, the Project Manager shall notify the Contractor in writing as to when a decision will be provided. No Contractor shall withdraw their proposal within 120 calendar days after the opening thereof. The term of this Contract shall be for one (1) year from date indicated in the Notice to Proceed, or otherwise indicated by Calvert County Government, with the option of extending the Contract for four (4) additional one (1) year periods under the same terms and conditions The right is hereby reserved to reject any or all proposals, and to waive informalities, as the interest of Calvert County Government may require.
